Bellator published a statement suggesting Delray Beach authorities are seeking info from anyone who may have seen the accident. «Bellator has been advised of a terrible accident that occurred last night between featherweight fighter Jordan Parsons, who was struck by an automobile at a hit-and-run episode,» the announcement read. «We are still in the process of discovering details and with his family’s consent, expect to have an update on his medical state shortly. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jordan and his family as he recovers. The hit-and-run happened on Lindell Blvd. and South Federal Highway in Delray Beach, Florida. Anyone who has information regarding this incident is requested to call the Delray Beach Police Department in -LRB-561-RRB-??243-7800.» Parsons (12-2) was scheduled to combat Adam Piccolotti at Bellator 154 at San Jose on May 14. It is likely Piccolotti won’t have a replacement opponent and the bout will probably be scrapped.
